Since 1892, Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena has provided quality, uninterrupted health care to the residents of the San Gabriel Valley and beyond. Today, the 625-bed, not-for-profit hospital is home to the only trauma center in the region. Renowned for its programs in cancer care, neurosciences and cardiovascular services, Huntington is also an active teaching hospital with a Graduate Medical Education program with tracks in internal medicine and general surgery. In addition, the hospital has the only regional neonatal intensive care unit, treating infants with the highest acuity. Consistent with its mission of excelling in the delivery of quality care, Huntington provides millions of dollars in charity care, benefits for vulnerable populations, health research, education and training and offers many free programs to the community, including geriatric psychiatric services and diabetes workshops in English and Spanish.

Kaiser Foundation Hospital Medical Center–Sunset is a nonprofit dialysis facility in Los Angeles. It has 30 dialysis stations, which is 10 more than the average for all California Dialysis Centers and is part of the Kaiser-Permanente system.

Keck Hospital of USC is a private, 411-bed acute care hospital staffed by Keck Medical Center of USC physicians who are also faculty at the renowned Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. Opened in 1991, this modern facility offers some of the most sophisticated technology available. Among the hospital’s advanced services are neurointerventional radiology, minimally invasive cardiothoracic surgery, robotic surgery and interventional cardiology. Celebrating more than 100 years, Long Beach Memorial Medical Center has been recognized as a major regional provider of medical and surgical services. Part of the MemoricalCare Health System, Long Beach Memorial consistently achieves national accolades for its quality care, including being named as one of the nation’s Top 125 hospitals by Consumers’ CHECKBOOK; named Top 100 Hospitals Cardiovascular by Thomson Reuters; and named one of “America’s Best Hospitals” for Orthopedics by U.S. News & World Report. The state-of-the-art electronic medical record system ensures that patients receive the best, safest possible care.

Methodist Hospital of Southern California is a 460-bed facility located in Arcadia, California. Founded in 1903 in Los Angeles by the Women’s Home Missionary Society of the Methodist Church, Methodist Hospital began serving the community with only five beds in a two-story house on Hewitt Street. Its current facility employs 2,100 people, 614 of which are medical staff and 600 are volunteers. Services provided include comprehensive acute care, such as medical, surgical, perinatal, pediatrics, oncology, intensive care (neonatal and adult) and complete cardiovascular services, including open-heart surgery. Methodist Hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission.

After a humble beginning of 37 physicians, Northridge Hospital Medical Center started as the first hospital in the West San Fernando Valley with 49 beds serving 200,000 people. Northridge Hospital Medical Center has grown with the community, evolving into a 411-bed nonprofit facility serving 2 million residents with a medical staff of more than 800 physicians in nearly 60 specialties. Northridge is proud to provide patients with technologically advanced, safe, effective and compassionate care. Northridge Hospital has earned the National Gold Seal of Approval™ from The Joint Commission.

Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center is a nationally recognized, not-for-profit facility with services that include Centers of Excellence in oncology and cancer care, cardiac and vascular care, women’s and children’s services and kidney stones. Specialized services include centers for breast health, sleep disorders, a Neonatal ICU, a Perinatal Center, physical therapy and sports medicine, a full-service Emergency Department, robotic surgery and the Family Medicine Residency Program affiliated with UCLA. Satellite Centers in Chino Hills, Claremont and Pomona provide a wide range of outpatient services including physical therapy, urgent care, radiology and occupational health.

Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital is a general medical and surgical hospital in Whittier, California. It performed nearly at the level of nationally ranked U.S. News & Report’s Best Hospitals in four adult specialties. Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital has 444 beds and had 18,317 admissions in the latest year for which data are available. It performed 4,262 annual inpatient and 7,849 outpatient surgeries. Its emergency room had 67,176 visits.

Promise Hospital of East Los Angeles-Suburban Campus is part of the Promise Healthcare system, which is one of the largest long-term acute care hospital organizations in the country. With more than 2,000 staff members and 13 hospitals nationwide, Promise utilizes an interdisciplinary approach to healing and wellness in providing treatment for patients with life’s most serious illnesses and injuries. Promise Hospital of East Los Angeles-Suburban Campus is where patients require and receive specialized care and extensive therapy over an extended period of time. Promise of East LA is certified by Medi-Cal and is state licensed as a long-term acute care hospital for patients requiring extended hospitalization.
